Discovery’ Dessert Apple Tree – Bare Root

Discovery Apple is a low maintenance apple tree variety which is very popular for small and medium sized gardens. Its small to medium sized fruits have a sweet, slightly acidic flavour, and can be ready for harvesting as early as August. Its firm, juicy texture becomes slightly softer when mature. They have generally good keeping qualities in cold places and store well in a fridge. The fruits have yellow-green skin with reddish patches, which may slightly bleed into the flesh. ‘Discovery’ has been awarded the Award of Garden Merit given by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), which helps gardeners make informed choices about plants.

Cox’s Orange Pippin’ Dessert Apple Tree – Bare Root

Cox’s Orange Pippin is a reliable and traditional apple tree variety, renowned for producing good crops of fresh fruits with excellent flavour and an attractive appearance. The apples are of a medium size in an orange-red colour, which become carmine mottled over a deep yellow background. The flesh is very aromatic, fine-grained, crisp and very juicy. They are of a moderately acidic flavour, which becomes softer and milder when mature. Cox’s Orange Pippin is one of the best in quality of the English dessert apples. They taste great eaten as they are, or sliced and used in a salad.

Braeburn Hillwell Dessert Apple Tree – Bare Root

Braeburn Hillwell is a deciduous apple tree which produces medium sized, red skinned, sweet apples that ripen in October. The fruits of this heavy cropper have very firm, juicy and crispy flesh, full of excellent taste and aroma. Fresh fruits are the best for eating raw and can be stored until March, as they have a very long shelf life.
